20 minutes · Live with a graduate

Talk to someone
who has done it.

Bex and Alan trained with us, qualified, and now work as ADHD coaches. If you are seriously weighing up the diploma, twenty minutes with one of them will tell you things we cannot tell you ourselves.

They volunteer their time, they are not part of our enrolment process, and there is nothing to pay.

What this is

The bit we are too biased to tell you.

We built the training, so of course we think it is good. Bex and Alan chose to do it, and then went and built something with it. They can tell you what it actually felt like to be in the room, what shifted for them along the way, and how they fitted it around the lives they already had.

They also know the part that comes after. Both qualified and are now working coaches, so they can tell you what that first year genuinely looked like, and what they would tell someone standing exactly where you are.

Ask them anything. They volunteer their time, they do not enrol anyone, and you will get a straight answer either way.

Bex O’Malley (she/her)

Bex was diagnosed with ADHD later in life, a turning point that made sense of years of masking, overworking and burnout. The diagnosis did not just give her answers. It gave her language, self-compassion, and permission to understand herself differently.

Through coaching she learned to pause, to listen to what she needed, and to rebuild a life and career that works with how she is actually wired. That reconnected her to her values, authenticity, growth and manaakitanga, and reshaped her purpose towards helping other people do the same.

Before coaching, Bex spent years in aviation, global supply chain and digital transformation, in complex and high-performing environments. She now brings that experience together with an ADHD-informed coaching lens, helping clients move from self-doubt to self-trust and build change that honours their energy, rhythm and humanity.

Thriving with ADHD is not about fixing yourself. It is about learning to work with your brain, not against it. Bex O’Malley

manaakitanga · hospitality, kindness, generosity, support. The process of showing respect, generosity and care for others.

Alan Stracey (he/him)

Alan is a full-time ADHD coach working with high-performing adults, helping them make changes that hold up under pressure. Before coaching he spent twenty years in the creative industries, from professional guitarist to Managing Director of a global video production studio, so he knows what it is to thrive in high-stakes work while privately managing the invisible parts of ADHD.

Diagnosed at 40, he finally had a framework for the contradictions that had shaped his life. Leading teams, handling complex projects and thriving in chaos, alongside the exhaustion, inconsistency and internal friction that never quite made sense. The diagnosis answered the why. The person-centred ADHD education he got through Gold Mind became the blueprint for building a life that actually worked.

That reshaped his own relationship with his diagnosis, and it shaped his mission: to change the support available to ADHD athletes and high-performing minds, and to redefine ADHD not as a limitation but as a performance advantage when it is properly understood.

When ADHD is embraced, understood properly and the right support offered, we can thrive. This is the Gold Mind effect. Alan Stracey
