About Me

My name is Amy, and I am a late-diagnosed AuDHDer.

My journey to understanding my own neurodivergence began in 2022 when I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 44. Getting the diagnosis made so many things fall into place but also brought up many questions and even more emotions.

Then, at the beginning of 2025, I went through another assessment process and was also diagnosed with autism. Even more made sense with the dual diagnosis of AuDHD, yet somehow, I wasn’t sure what to do with what I now knew about myself.

I had quite a lot of therapy, which really helped me to revisit my past with the fresh understanding provided by my diagnoses. I now knew that I wasn’t just terrible at being a human being – a firmly held belief for most of my life – but that I simply processed things differently. Therapy helped me enormously, but I was still left with no idea how to better navigate the world with my new understanding. Understanding the struggle didn’t make the struggle go away.

I needed help to start working with my brain, rather than fighting against it, which is where coaching came in.

Now, as an ADHD-informed coach, I provide others with practical support to help them to better understand their wonderful brains and to come up with successful strategies to meet the challenges of everyday life.
