About Jo (she/her)
Jo was diagnosed with ADHD at 47, marking the beginning of a profound journey of self-discovery. However, the most transformative chapter of this journey has been her training with Gold Mind Academy. Initially expecting to gain ADHD-related knowledge and coaching tools, she found that the real impact went far beyond this—Katie and Alex’s guidance led to deep personal growth and a shift in both her coaching and her own understanding of ADHD.
Throughout the Gold Mind training, Jo experienced several pivotal moments.
In Module 1, she had a life-changing realisation: she had spent her entire life without truly asking herself what her needs were, making it difficult to meet them. This revelation sparked a powerful process of reconnection with herself. Module 2 uncovered a hidden layer of shame she had unknowingly carried, particularly around struggles with working memory. By naming this, she was able to release it and cultivate greater self-compassion.
Module 3 took her coaching to a new level, equipping her with the Gold Mind approach to ADHD coaching, aligned with ICF and PCC markers. This has enabled Jo to support her ADHD clients with deeper insight and effectiveness. Now, in Module 4, she embraces the concept of being ADHD on purpose—feeling more confident, both personally and professionally, and fully owning her ADHD identity in an authentic and empowering way.
Jo credits her ADHD coach for first recommending Katie and Alex’s training, a decision that has profoundly shaped her coaching career. She describes Gold Mind Academy as far more than just a course—it is a place where she has felt truly seen, heard, and understood for the first time in her life.
